The Chesapeake Series represents Knaggs Guitars' long-scale line, featuring a 25.5-inch scale length. These guitars are distinguished by their selection of premium woods, set-neck construction, and the brand's own proprietary bridge designs.

Common features of the Chesapeake Series:

• Scale length: 25.5 inches.
• Neck: Set-neck construction.
• Neck profile: "Knaggs C," with a slight shift toward a "V" profile near the nut.
• Chesapeake bridge: Proprietary design by Joe Knaggs. It incorporates a faceplate firmly bolted to the body to enhance vibration transmission and a floating ball-bearing system at the rear.

Finish Levels – Tiers:

Knaggs categorizes these guitars into three tiers, primarily based on aesthetic exclusivity and wood selection:

• Tier 3: Opaque finishes or woods with standard grain and a more understated aesthetic.
• Tier 2: Mid-grade curly or flame maple tops, along with pickguards and details crafted from exotic woods.
• Tier 1: Selection of the factory's most exclusive woods, including highly figured maple tops.
